Mark and Lorri

Happy Birthday Courtney. It is hard to believe that my daughter is 14 years old. I know that most mother and daughters have a very stressful relationship, but so far we seem to get along pretty well. Or maybe she is just easy going and puts up with a lot. At the time Courntey was born, we already had 2 boys, so it was a wonderful surprise to have a girl addition to the family.

We have the same quirky sense of humor, which has a dendency to come out when spend time together. Courtney is very talented. She plays piano, gets great grades and is planning on running cross country this fall. She also has an amazing creative streak which she exhibits through writting and painting. I am very thankful to not only have a daughter, but to have one who really has the desire to do what is right.
