Favorite Things Friday - hair thickener and sushi

I am patting myself on the back for doing Favorite Things Friday even though it is Halloween. This will be a quickie, but still a goodie.

Thicker Fuller Hair

One of the most depressing things about getting older (and having a pathetic functioning thyroid) is that my hair was getting thinner. Now for some of you this isn't or hopefully won't be an issue. But for those of you who like me, stare yearningly at those who have luscious locks. You should try this. It won't actually grow you more hair. But it makes the most of what you have. When checking on the internet, it got really good reviews. Which is what inspired me to try it in the first place. Just put a small pump of it in your hand and spread it through your wet hair before drying. I got mine at Walgreens and would imagine most Drug stores would carry it. It runs around $8 for a bottle that will last you a pretty long time (as long as you don't go crazy).
I highly recommend this product!

Blue C Sushi

This one is for Washingtonians only. Because so far that is the only place they are located. I first caught site of this neat little restaurant when in the University District as Courtney was participating in History Day. We peeked in and knew we had to come back and try it, which we did. It was really yummy and a lot of fun. There is a conveyor belt that runs past each table with plates of different kinds of sushi on it (and a quick desrciption of what that sushi is). When a plate goes by that looks interesting, you pick it up and set it on your table. Don't worry, each plate has a cover so you don't have to worry about people sneezing on your food. Each plate is a different color, which signifies how much that plate of food costs. If you have never tired sushi, this is a great place to start. They have everything from California roll (which is all cooked) all the way to raw eel. They also have fresh veggies and some cooked noodles. Also at your table is pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce. Plates run from $1.50 to $4.00 each.

If you want, you can also do takeout. Just go through the entrance. There is a table right up front with disposable trays you can use to load food from the conveyor belt as they go by. The cashier then checks the color of your plates and how many you have and tada, you are done.

Since Mark is out of town this week, we may sneak on over (since Courtny and Sidney love sushi) and eat. We will take pictures since their website is poorly devoid of any. But go visit the website for more information before you go.

Blue C Sushi

Did I mention they just put a new one in with the new addition at Southcenter aka Westfield Mall. It is located right by the Borders Books and you enter from the outside. Try it, you might like it.
