This morning we woke up and not only did we have sunshine, but we also had a new baby calf. It must have only been a few hours old at the most. So of course I had to run out with my camera and video camer and get some pictures. He was still very wobbly, which Sidney thought was so funny. We have been watching our cow the last few days hoping to see the birth, but we are happy that things went smoothly and the calf is doing well.
I attempted to made this video and uploaded it to youtube. Hopefully this works.
Next up is this little lady. We have noticed signs that she should be giving birth in the next couple of days. So here is keeping our fingers crossed that we don't miss this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed that...pretty darn cute and so goes the circle of life. Is the mom totally protective or can you go over there and check it out or is that a total no-no? How did Mark manage to go to work? Such big news!!! I wonder what she'll name it?
I'm so disappointed I missed it! Let's hope the next one is during the day...maybe we could put her on pitosin (I have no idea how to spell). The video brought on tears:) I'm thinking oscar...
That's so sweet. Love the video.
I think Lane and I have watched the video 10 times. He sees the computer and begs for Cows. He says the video is Daddy and Lane and the picture of the still pregnant cow is of me, NICE!
Thanks for sharing! Congrats on your new addition.:)
