Digging in the dirt, getting the beds ready for planting. I can almost smell the fresh dirt.
Who doesn't love peas picked fresh out of the garden?
I have been looking over my seed catalogs, picking and choosing what to order. How many pole beans do I want? What kind of carrots? Do I get wild and crazy and try some purple carrots? Maybe I will try hanging my tomatoes upside down. Oh the possibilities. I have lain awake at night giddy with the possibilities.
So imagine my dismay when I look out the window at this scene...
This is where my garden will go when the snow finally goes away and it thaws enough.
The snow actually stared yesterday with a few flakes here and there and now we are in a full blown snow storm today. Come on, it is March. I am ready for a lovely 70 degree day with the smell of mowed grass in the air. Not watching big fluffy snowflakes gently making their way down to caress each object as they land.
The only thing left to say is BRRRRRR! and here is hoping for some sun.

It's good to know I'm not the only one waiting ever so impatiently for winter to Go Away. It's high time to get outside and play in the dirt!
Don't even get me started on the snow, every little snowflake was a reminder that spring is not on the way! Thanks for the coupon for the Dr. Pepper, did you know they renamed it Thomas milk? It does a body good.
Thomas milk :) That is funny, but oh so true. The weather is starting to look up so hang in there everyone.
Sounds like you guys are suffering the same weather ups and downs as us. The first half of the week, I am bundled up in my warmest coat, the middle finds me in a short sleeved t-shirt and we are expecting snow again tomorrow. Good times. Go away snow!
