End up looking like this....
And as I began to ponder I knew this was going to take some research. So I dug in my heels and began what would be a long and daunting examination of the facts at hand (okay I looked through our pictures for 15 minutes). And this is what I discovered.
Early years of my son Blain | A few years later |
Early years of my son Coty | A few years later |
In fact we have to hide the clippers from Coty because he always wants his hair shorter now. We have "forbid" (or is it forbad?) him from cutting any smaller than the second to the smallest guard.
So what I deduced from my exploration, is that Thomas boys go through a metomophasis. They need to have a period in their lives where they have long hair. And I was happy, thrilled even to blame this whole thing on my husband. It was all fine and dandy until I ran across this picture...
Yes that is me. It was at this point I knew I had to accept some responsiblity for our boys actions in their grooming earlier in their life. So I say, let's let sleeping dogs lie. We all turned out okay, no harm done. Enough said.

Wow! That first picture of Tracey and Mark and the last picture of you...WOW! Why don't I remember when you had facial hair? Was that when I lived in Utah?
Your boys sure clean up nice. Aren't you glad it didn't turn out the other way around - short hair early on and then long hair. I don't think Blain's mission president would be to excited.
Ahh, always a fan of the shaved heads, the boys sure clean up nicely. I'm thinking you should go all hairy again (SAweet photo)...it will keep you warm in the frigid SF whitecaps
